Role Overview:

We are currently looking for a Floor Layer to join our team in the Cardiff area.

To be considered for this role you will need to have a good understanding of all floor types and have the ability to cap and cove.

Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and install various types of flooring materials, including vinyl sheet, cap and cove and vinyl tiles and latex
• Prepare subfloors by cleaning, levelling, or smoothing surfaces
• Inspect flooring materials for defects or damage before installation
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during the installation process
• Communicate with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences

You will need:

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Floor Layer
• Ability to cap and cove
• Knowledge of different types of flooring materials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and floor plans
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
