Job Description

We are looking for a driven team member to contribute to the development of our technology product serving in area of automating railway track equipment and improving safety of railroad operation. This person labels images & videos that contribute to our deep learning network. In this role you will work with in-house tools to label data coming directly from the Harsco fleet of vehicles.

The perfect candidate for this role is adaptable, can apply logic to multiple different scenarios, is attentive to detail, has experience with computers and other software, and enjoys a fast-paced work environment. This team provides all on-site training to help you be successful in this role.

Qualifications

Roles & Responsibilities and Qualifiction:

• You will use in-house tools to label images for the Technology team.
• Interact with team members to help us improve on the design of an efficient labeling interface.
• You will gain basic computer vision and machine learning knowledge to better understand how the labels are used by our learning algorithms.
• Ability to make judgement calls on difficult edge cases that might come up during labeling
  
  Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Preferred - Engineering / Science)

  Experience

• 3+ years of experience using Microsoft applications such as Outlook/Excel/PowerPoint. Proficient in Microsoft office suite.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Yolo Mark labeling tool / BBox-Label-Tool / Label Studio.
• Knowledge in photo or video editing applications.
• Experience with Linux OS.
• Knowledge of programming language C++ / Python.
• Passionate and curious about technology.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members in a matrix organization.
• Possess good problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop innovative solutions
