Description
- Supports system administration activities to include installing new software releases and system upgrades, evaluating and installing patches, resolving software and system related problems; account management, monitoring and auditing system logs, back-up and recovery, security, managing operating systems, and storage management.
- Supports network administration requirements including identity management of network access to authorized personnel; providing remote access; providing network configuration management, problem identification, troubleshooting, and installation, maintenance, repair, and upgrades of hardware and associated equipment.
- Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
- Supports the creation and maintenance of SOPs, FAQs, user training, and other technical documentation to support deliverable requirements, internal team needs, and to share with end users to support self-resolution.
- Follows all customer security and change management requirements.
- Familiarity with standard IT concepts, practices, and procedures, to include ITIL and ISO best practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of relevant experience required.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required.
- Relevant IT certification like Comptia A+ or Security+ preferred but not required.
