
About this role
The Mortgage Marketing Specialist supports the development and execution of marketing initiatives that grow Bell Bank’s mortgage business. This role serves as a key connector between internal teams, external partners, and the marketing department— helping move projects from concept to completion using established project management processes. The specialist ensures marketing projects are completed on time, on brand, and aligned with business needs while maintaining clear, consistent communication.
Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution
- Coordinate end-to-end marketing projects supporting Bell Bank’s mortgage line of business and cross-functional initiatives.
- Serve as a central point of contact between internal business partners, vendors, and marketing team members to ensure timely updates and communication.
- Gather project requirements through discovery meetings, creative briefs, and basic competitive research.
- Maintain organized workflows using project management tools to track tasks, timelines, deliverables, and approvals.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with mortgage stakeholders to understand their goals and help translate them into effective marketing plans and project needs.
- Assist with marketing planning activities, including assembling timelines, organizing tasks, and providing regular status updates.
- Support the execution of marketing campaigns and tactical initiatives across various channels.
- Help manage assigned marketing budgets alongside stakeholders and business line leaders.
- Facilitate review meetings to keep projects aligned and ensure approvals are received on time.
- Identify potential project issues and help resolve them to keep work moving forward.
- Provide general support to Mortgage Marketing leadership as needed.
Client & Vendor Relationships
- Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to support project work.
- Support implementation of marketing and communications initiatives by coordinating with external advertising and marketing vendors.
- Maintain strong, professional working relationships with stakeholders across departments, locations, and external partners.
- Coordinate production details including estimates, mail lists, proofs, press checks, and final deliverables for marketing materials.
- Deliver high-quality, responsive service that reflects Bell Bank’s brand and commitment to excellence.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.

Education, Experience and Other Expectations
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field; or equivalent working experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in communications, marketing, or related field.
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Concur, JIRA, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools.
- Ability to work effectively on both PC and Mac platforms and quickly learn new systems.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- High attention to detail, including proofreading, editing, and quality control.
- Professional demeanor with strong client service orientation.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
