JOB DESCRIPTION
Finance Administrative Intern
Position Summary
The Finance Intern will support the Finance team with reporting, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives. This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to real business financials, operational performance tracking, and corporate finance routines.
Key Responsibilities
◦ Support weekly/monthly reporting (basic templates, tracking, and summaries)
◦ Assist with Excel-based analysis (trends, variances, KPIs)
◦ Help maintain dashboards and reporting files (Power BI or Excel)
◦ Support budgeting and forecasting activities (data gathering and validation)
◦ Assist with working capital tracking (AR, inventory, AP snapshots)
◦ Participate in process documentation and cleanup (SOPs, checklists)
◦ Ad-hoc support for special projects across FP&A and Accounting
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant experience is a plus.
• Proven experience in document scanning and data entry roles.
• Proficient in using office equipment such as scanners and computers.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Required Skills and Abilities
• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
• Strong Excel skills (sorting, filters, pivot tables preferred)
• High attention to detail and strong organization
• Comfortable working with data and deadlines
• Professional communication and willingness to learn
Physical Requirements
• Prolonged periods sitting and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift- up to fifteen (15) pounds at times.
Working Hours: This is a part-time position with flexible working hours, typically ranging from 6-20 hours per week. The schedule is adjustable based on the candidate's availability.
