Department: Test Centre Operations
Location: Hybrid, 75% at the facility (180 Dundas St. West Suite 301, Toronto, ON M5G 1Z8) and required on training and administration dates
Start date: ASAP.
Pay rate: $55,000 CAD/annually
Position status: Full-time
Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Senior Manager Channel Engagement, coordinates the planning, administration and execution of CMTO OSCE certification examinations. This role collaborates with the Content Specialist to ensure that exam content development and exam delivery activities are effectively planned and executed.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Oversee OSCE facility and all day-to-day operations.
• Manage employees (SMEs, Examiners, Standardized Clients).
• Conduct recruitment, provide training to new employees relating to onboarding and Prometric systems.
• Manage employee schedule, assign shifts and station assignments, ensure staff attend all scheduled shifts, find staffing replacements and use contingency staffing when needed.
• Plan, budget and schedule annual OSCE training, including creating communications for employees.
• Maintain supplies and inventory of all consumable and non-consumable items.
• Maintain security of all exam materials.
Qualifications
Academic:
• Qualified candidates will have a post-secondary degree or diploma and 3 years’ experience in an administrative program support role, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience and Abilities
Qualified candidates will have:
• Knowledgeable and experienced in interpreting and applying legislative requirements and internal policies and procedures on daily basis.
• Organizational, time management and planning skills and proven ability to manage and deliver on competing priorities.
• Critical thinking, judgment and problem-solving.
• Communication skills: strong verbal and written, ability to convey complex messages in plain language.
• Interpersonal skills: collaboration and relationship management skills, ability to influence without formal authority.
• Self-starter, ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Flexible, resilient, and resourceful in dealing with unexpected complications or challenges
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Proficient in the use of technology in daily work (Microsoft Office suite, databases, records management systems).
• Fluency in French considered as asset.
