
About this role
Summary
The QC Auditor performs the inspection of products and monitoring procedures to ensure SOP’s and GMP’s are correctly followed under the supervision and direction of the Q&PC Supervisor.
Essential Functions

Collects samples from required areas of the plant and transfers samples to the laboratory
Verifies internal temperature of products
Perform pre-operational evaluations on production rooms and machinery
Performs audits of incoming raw product and outgoing finished product
Monitors production personnel to ensure employee hygiene practices are followed correctly
Verifies the calibration of production instruments (i.e. metal detector, scales)
Maintains proper documentation of audits and evaluations
Must be able to stand between 2 – 3 hours at a time
Must be willing to follow all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) of the company which include but are not limited to: use of a hair net, use of gloves, use of a company approved frock and rubber boots, no jewelry, no nail polish or artificial nails, no shorts, no open-toed shoes, no ripped clothing or rhinestones/glitter on clothing, no chewing gum, candy or tobacco.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to extreme temperatures (under 40 degrees and/or above 100 degrees Fahrenheit). The floors in the environment are often wet and can be slippery. The employee regularly works nearing moving mechanical parts.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 5 pounds. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Frequent use/motion of hands, wrists and arms are required. The employee is often required to stoop, kneel, crouch or bend.

This is a full-time position, weekends and overtime are often required. Schedule is subject to change with or without notice. Hours of work: Typically, Monday through Friday.
