Key Responsibilities
- Sales Target Achievement: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly volume, market share, and revenue targets for SCVs.
- Customer & Market Development: Identify, target, and acquire new commercial clients, specifically within logistics, SME, and distribution sectors.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with commercial customers, dealers, and key stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, motivate, and monitor the performance of the sales team, ensuring high levels of customer service.
- Financial & Loan Processing: Facilitate vehicle loans, manage refinancing options, and coordinate with banks or NBFCs to increase finance penetration.
- Market Analysis & Reporting: Analyze competitor activities (pricing, payload, product range) and prepare regular sales reports for senior management.
- Inventory & Process Management: Oversee inventory levels, ensure pricing discipline, and manage the sales process from inquiry to delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in commercial vehicle sales or sales management (typically 5–8 years), with specific knowledge of SCV or light commercial vehicles.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the local commercial vehicle market, including dealer networks and customer needs.
- Sales & Negotiation: Excellent sales, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team.
- Relationship Management: Strong communication and networking abilities.
- Financial Literacy: Knowledge of commercial vehicle loans, financing, and refinancing processes.
