Senior Clinical Data Engineer - Remote

The person in this position will work independently with all levels of Core Leaders (System, Region, Service Area and Ministry) utilizing his/her advanced subject matter expertise and coding skills to lead teams, design advance data sources, develop quality assurance processes, test multiple hypotheses, design challenging visualizations, use advanced contemporary data science techniques, provide ongoing training and facilitate multiple projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, Healthcare or a related clinical or analytic discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • 5 years - A equivalent of a minimum of years of relevant data analysis; a biomedical setting is preferred.  Experience with database query and analysis languages (e.g. SQL, R, SAS, Python) and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, D3).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Health Information Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, Healthcare or a related clinical or analytic discipline.
  • Within 1 year of hire: Certification in an IT discipline, application, or tool

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position.  The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
