About this role

A core focus is the development of high‑quality management information (MI) and insights to inform decision‑making, support performance oversight, and enable sustainable business growth. Through strong stakeholder engagement and a deep understanding of the Wealth Management landscape, the individual will help ensure that remuneration structures remain robust, transparent, and strategically aligned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of Wealth Manager remuneration statements and payments.
  • Ensure that remuneration and revenue accounting entries in the general ledger are accurate, compliant with agreed terms, and appropriately controlled.
  • Support the implementation of tactical remuneration design changes, ensuring operational robustness, smooth transition into BAU processes, and contribution to long‑term strategic development.
  • Work closely with the month‑end reporting team to ensure that Wealth Manager remuneration allocations are posted accurately.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new group affiliation options, including designing and calculating remuneration structures, communication to Wealth Managers, accounting treatment, and MI reporting.
  • Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve issues relating to data, processes, or controls—escalating risks appropriately and driving sustainable solutions.
  • Act as an internal consultant, providing financial and commercial insight to support forecasting, scenario analysis, and strategic decision‑making relating to remuneration and revenue.
  • Collaborate with Finance sub‑teams to enhance reporting, MI delivery, and system capabilities across tools such as CODA, TM1, and Tableau.
  • Influence and contribute to ongoing systems and reporting development, including enhancements across TM1, CODA, Excel-based tooling, and downstream MI processes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A recognised professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), with approximately 3 years of post‑qualification experience.
  • Proven experience in a remuneration, revenue, or financial control role—ideally within Wealth or Asset Management.
  • Strong experience producing meaningful management information, analysis, and insight beyond transactional reporting.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong written communication abilities.
  • Experience with TM1 and CODA is beneficial but not essential.
  • Highly analytical, with a logical and structured approach to problem‑solving.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive and curious mindset, with the confidence to challenge, improve, and simplify existing processes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive, collaborative relationships at all levels.
