About this role
Senior Full‑Stack Developer to Umain, Gothenburg
Eidra is strengthening its presence on the Swedish west coast, and we are now looking for a Senior Full‑Stack Developer to join Umain in Gothenburg, one of Eidra’s tech and product companies.
This is an opportunity for a true digital craftsperson: someone who cares deeply about building well‑made products, enjoys shaping solutions end‑to‑end, and wants to influence not only what we build, but how we work together while doing it.
Umain today consists of around 180 colleagues across Stockholm, London, Chicago, Oslo, the Netherlands and Gothenburg. Our Gothenburg office is still in an early phase. During 2025, the first five team members joined, and in 2026 we plan to double the team. That means you will be part of building the team, the culture and the ways of working from the ground up.
You’ll work closely with ambitious colleagues in a studio environment where professionalism meets creativity where high standards, curiosity and collaboration go hand in hand.
The work
At Umain, you’ll work with high‑profile, many times international, clients on projects that span industries and formats. Examples of what our teams do include:
- Launching interactive marketing platforms for AAA game releases
- Building mobile customer experiences for global consumer brands
- Bringing national museum collections into virtual worlds using advanced imaging and VR
Your day‑to‑day work might move between refining a frontend experience, shaping backend logic, integrating platforms or designing APIs but the focus is not on being “the best” at one specific framework. Instead, we value craft, judgement and adaptability: choosing the right tools, patterns and solutions for the problem at hand.
We work with modern technologies and platforms (often Next.js, Go, Kotlin, cloud services and contemporary developer tooling), but these evolve over time. What matters most is your ability to learn, reason and build with quality.
Your role in Gothenburg
As one of the early senior developers in Gothenburg, you will:
- Help build and mentor the local team
- Influence culture, standards and collaboration
- Set an example for how we balance creativity, structure and delivery
- Work closely with designers, strategists and clients
- Contribute to Umain’s growth locally, while being part of a global organization
This is a role for someone who enjoys responsibility and wants to leave a lasting imprint technically, culturally and professionally.
About you
We believe you’ll thrive in this role if you recognize yourself in several of the following:
- 5+ years of experience as a full‑stack developer, preferably in an agency or consulting environment
- Comfortable working across the stack and across disciplines
- A pragmatic and curious problem‑solver who values quality and sustainability in solutions
- A confident and clear communicator with both clients and colleagues
- Someone who takes pride in their craft, not just their tools
The role is based in Gothenburg. We value being together at the office and aim to work on‑site most days, while allowing flexibility when needed.
What we offer
- A clear and transparent career path
You’ll be part of a well‑defined career framework with equal pay and opportunities for everyone. Together with your coach, you’ll create a personal development plan with clear next steps.
- The chance to build something from the start
Few roles offer the opportunity to shape a team and culture this early while still having the backing of a large, established group.
- A healthy work–life balance
We respect life outside of work and offer a flexible, supportive environment that enables long‑term growth and wellbeing.
- A strong team culture
You’ll work closely with designers, analysts and developers who share knowledge, challenge each other and grow together.

If you’re a senior full‑stack developer who sees technology as a craft, thrives in the intersection of creativity and professionalism, and wants to make a real impact - we’d love to hear from you.
