Description
The Marketing & Operations Coordinator is a highly organized, detail-oriented entry-level professional who supports the day-to-day operations of the marketing team, e-commerce store, and social media efforts. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role plays a key support function in keeping projects, content, and logistics moving smoothly.
This is a junior role well-suited for a recent graduate or early-career professional interested in gaining hands-on experience across marketing operations, e-commerce, and brand support within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Project & Marketing Operations Support
· Support project intake, scheduling, and task tracking
· Help maintain project timelines and flag delays or missing inputs
· Provide general administrative and ad-hoc support to the marketing team as needed
· Update and maintain Mailchimp email lists
· Support new-hire marketing tasks and recurring operational needs
· Help organize and maintain SharePoint files for accessibility and version control
· Ensure marketing assets are consistently named, stored, and easy to find
· Support adherence to brand and formatting standards
· Help monitor social media engagement and flag opportunities or needs for follow-up
· Support execution of campaigns, announcements, and seasonal content
· Collect monthly marketing statistics and populate reports / presentations
· Review and edit all marketing materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards.
Billing & Expense Management
· Own the end-to-end billing process for the marketing team, ensuring all vendor invoices, receipts, and expenses are processed accurately and on time
· Manage and reconcile credit card statements, verifying charges, collecting receipts, and resolving discrepancies
· Ensure invoices are properly documented, coded, and submitted in accordance with internal procedures
· Track billing deadlines and follow up with internal teams to ensure timely approvals and complete documentation
· Maintain organized, auditable records for invoices, receipts, contracts, and payments
· Partner with accounting and internal stakeholders to address questions or corrections efficiently
E-Commerce & Retail Support (Kiawah River Finery)
· Assist with order fulfillment, shipping coordination, and inventory organization
· Help prepare, organize, and support pop-up shops and on-site retail events
· Coordinate packing materials, product organization, and basic reporting
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
· Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Communications, English, Business, or related field preferred)
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
· Interest in marketing operations, e-commerce, and brand support
· High attention to detail and follow-through
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Self-starter mindset with a willingness to learn and support where needed
· Solid writing and proofreading skills with close attention to detail
