About this role
Reports To: Director of Inside Sales, Partnerships & Channels
Job Summary
As an Inside Sales Rep, you’re the engine behind XTIVIA’s growth. You won’t just be making calls; you’ll be mastering the art of the pitch, identifying high-value opportunities, and building a professional network from the ground up. Working directly with our Outside Sales pros, you’ll help bridge the gap between a 'lead' and a 'partnership,' hitting ambitious targets while fast-tracking your own career in tech sales
Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsibilities
I. Fueling the Pipeline & Mastermind Outreach
- First Impressions Expert: You’ll be the voice of XTIVIA, sparking interest through high-energy outreach and showing potential clients how our tech solves their real-world problems.
- The Growth Detective: You won't just find leads; you'll hunt for them. Use a mix of deep-dive research, social networking (LinkedIn, etc.), and referrals to identify the brands we should be working with next.
- Data Architect (CRM): Keep our growth engine organized. You’ll own your data—tracking interactions and pipeline progress in the CRM so we always have a clear map of our "wins."
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Be the "expert in the room." You’ll keep a pulse on the latest tech trends and what our competitors are doing, using those insights to pivot your pitch and stay relevant.
II. Strategic Sales Support
- Be a Strategic Wing-Player: You’re not just "support"—you’re a partner. You’ll work side-by-side with our Outside Sales Pros to co-create and execute game plans that win over major accounts.
- The Goal-Crusher: You’ll be a vital part of a high-performing squad. Your energy and focus will directly contribute to the team’s leaderboard, helping everyone hit (and exceed) those big targets.
- Innovate the Process: Got a better way to do things? We want to hear it. You’ll provide real-time feedback and fresh insights to leadership to help us level up our sales strategies and stay ahead of the game.
III. Customer Relationship Management
- Relationship Architect: You aren't just "selling", you’re building a community. You’ll dive deep to understand what keeps your clients up at night and show them how we’ve got their backs, creating long-term trust from day one.
- The Pivot Master: When someone says "no," you hear "not yet." You’ll use your high EQ and communication skills to navigate tough conversations, solve problems on the fly, and turn skepticism into a "let’s talk more" moment—all with total confidence.
Required Skills / Abilities
Technical and Functional Skills
- CRM Power-User: You’re comfortable navigating digital platforms (like Salesforce or HubSpot) to track your wins and keep your workflow seamless. You see data as a roadmap, not a chore.
- The Digital Suite: You’re a pro at the essentials—Word, Excel, and PowerPoint—but you use them to tell stories, create impact, and keep your strategy organized.
- Workflow Ninja: You have a "get it done" system. Whether it’s time-blocking or using productivity tools, you know how to prioritize multiple projects without breaking a sweat.
- Communication Chameleon: You’re just as comfortable on a Zoom call or a phone pitch as you are drafting a crisp, persuasive email. You know how to adapt your vibe to match whoever is on the other end of the line.
Professional Competencies
- Vibe-Check & Communication: You’re an elite communicator. Whether you’re on a call or a video chat, you know how to read the room (or the "zoom"), build instant trust, and keep people engaged.
- The Self-Starter Mentality: You don't need a script for every second of the day. You’re proactive, goal-oriented, and have that internal "hustle" to chase down targets and celebrate the wins.
- Adaptive Team Player: You’re a pro at working solo, but you thrive in a collaborative squad. You’re flexible, quick to pivot when things move fast, and always down to help the team win.
- Resilience & Growth Mindset: You see "no" as a challenge, not a dead end. You stay positive under pressure and are always looking for ways to level up your skills.
Your Background
- The Experience Mix: We’re looking for someone with 1–3 years of experience in a sales, customer success, or high-energy service role.
- Recent Grads: If you’ve led a campus organization, crushed it in a high-stakes retail/hospitality job, or completed a rigorous internship, we want to hear about your wins!
- Education: A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is great—but we value verifiable hustle just as much. If you have a track record of hitting targets and a passion for tech, you belong here.
- The "Value-Add": If you’ve played around with Salesforce, HubSpot, or other sales tech, or if you have an interest in how the IT world works, you’ll fit right in.
- Mindset: Most importantly, you have a "day one" attitude—you’re ready to learn, stay positive under pressure, and grow alongside a team of pros.
