JOB SUMMARY:
The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, assess, and hire qualified candidates who align with the A New Leaf’s (ANL) mission, values, and operational needs. This role partners closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develops targeted recruitment strategies, and ensures a consistent, compliant, and positive candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding handoff.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
§ None
Duties/Responsibilities:
§ Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
o Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions.
o Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and hiring timelines.
o Develop and maintain inclusive job postings.
o Proactively source candidates through multiple channels.
o Conduct initial candidate screenings.
§ Candidate Experience & Selection Support
o Coordinate interviews and communicate next steps.
o Maintain professional candidate communication.
o Support structured interviewing and selection practices.
o Assist with reference and background checks.
§ Onboarding & Hiring Compliance
o Prepare and extend employment offers.
o Ensure completion of pre-hire documentation.
o Maintain compliance with hiring laws and policies.
o Track recruitment activity in ANL’s designated HRIS.
§ Recruitment Strategy & Continuous Improvement
o Track recruitment metrics.
o Recommend strategies for hard-to-fill roles.
o Build community recruitment partnerships.
o Participate in job fairs and outreach events.
§ Performs other related duties as assigned to benefit the mission of the organization.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
§ Have and maintain a valid driver’s license, including dependable vehicle/transportation to and from work, and automobile insurance coverage at all times, to ensure you are eligible to operate company vehicles.
§ Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
§ Work flexible schedule based on the those served by and the needs of A New Leaf, Inc., including but not limited to working scheduled evenings or weekends based on the department/event need.
§ Expressed desire to work with as well as a positive attitude when working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism.
§ Strong organizational skills and an ability to thrive and be productive equally in a team oriented or autonomous environment.
§ Proficiency with Human Resources systems and Microsoft Office platforms.

Education and Experience:
§ Must have Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
§ Must have minimum of 2 years recruiting experience.
§ Must have knowledge of recruitment laws and practices.
§ Preference given if shown experience in nonprofit and human services recruitment, competency-based interviewing, and SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certification.
Physical Requirements:
§ Prolonged period sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
§ Bending, stooping, and lifting a minimum of 20lbs.
