Description
Prevailance is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist II to support company growth initiatives by recruiting talent aligned to new business opportunities in capture and proposal development. This role focuses on proactive sourcing, candidate engagement, and staffing solution development that directly supports contract awards. The ideal candidate is an experienced recruiter who is comfortable working in fast-paced, pre-award environments and partnering closely with capture and proposal teams. Travel may be required.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Gain familiarity with staffing requirements for opportunities in capture and proposal development
- Collaborate with Capture and Proposal Managers to develop staffing solutions that strengthen competitive positioning and support contract award
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies to identify, engage, and assess candidates aligned to opportunity requirements
- Source candidates using platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ClearanceJobs, and similar tools
- Draft and present Letters of Intent (LOIs) in support of solicitation staffing requirements
- Maintain engagement with prospective employees included in proposal staffing solutions through award decision
- Support hiring actions and onboarding activities during contract award and mobilization phases, as required
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Represent the company professionally when engaging candidates, teammates, and external partners
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ClearanceJobs, or comparable recruiting platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and represent the company professionally
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience recruiting for defense contractors
- Familiarity with government contracting capture and proposal development processes
- Experience recruiting for positions requiring security clearances (e.g., Secret, Top Secret)
- Familiarity with HR Information Systems (e.g., Paylocity or similar platforms)
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Comfortable with cold calling and proactive candidate outreach
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 8+ years of military service may be an acceptable substitute
