The RoleAs a Project Controller within Defence & Aerospace, you will support the successful delivery of complex programmes by providing clear control and insight across cost, schedule, risk, and performance.
Working alongside project managers, engineers, and senior stakeholders, you will operate in regulated environments where accuracy, governance, and assurance are critical.

This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop a long-term career in project controls within Defence and Aerospace, supported by structured training and APM-accredited qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining integrated project schedules (e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project)
  • Supporting cost control, forecasting, and performance management, including Earned Value (EVM)
  • Producing accurate project reports, dashboards, and performance analysis
  • Supporting risk, issue, and change control processes
  • Working closely with client teams in secure, safety-critical, and regulated environments
  • Ensuring compliance with governance, assurance, and reporting standard

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven experience as a Project Controller / Project Planner / Project Controls professional
  • Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6 (essential)
  • Solid understanding of project controls principles (planning, cost, risk, EVM)
  • Experience working in complex project environments (e.g. aerospace, defence, energy, infrastructure, IT)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
