Job Overview:
The Data Analyst will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decision-making and drive operational improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience with data visualization tools, and the ability to communicate complex insights in an understandable manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze data from various sources related to fuel operations, retail performance, and customer behavior.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor business trends.
- Conduct data quality checks and ensure data integrity across all analytic processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide insights that support strategic initiatives.
- Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear and actionable format.
- Assist with forecasting and budgeting initiatives through accurate data modeling and analysis.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and visualization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in data analysis or a similar analytical role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, or Python.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about data.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
