We are seeking a dedicated Junior Accountant to streamline these critical functions and support the organization’s continued growth.
Position Type: Contract, (15 months)
Location: Etobicoke, ON (Hybrid) 190 Attwell Dr, Suite 490 Toronto
Languages: Bilingual (French and English preferred)

Base Salary Range: $50,000 – $60,000 annually

Position Summary
This role will play a key role in enhancing daily Cash Applications, financial accuracy, improving cash flow visibility, and ensuring timely collection and reconciliation processes. In addition, this role will support essential treasury operations and corporate card management, contributing to improved control, fraud prevention, and oversight. This role will report to Director of Treasury.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing daily bank reconciliations for all CHN bank accounts
- Managing daily cash applications across all CHN entities
- Overseeing treasury operations (payment processing on CIBC CMO, funds transfer, tax payments, etc.)
- Administering corporate card management
- Supporting ad hoc projects such as reconciliation and billing
What You Bring
- Proven experience in bank reconciliation and cash application
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and journal entry preparation
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
Qualifications:
- College Degree in accounting or relevant field from a recognized academic institution; Bachelor's Degree or higher is an asset
- Must be eligible to work in Canada at all times while employed with Clearpoint Health Network.
- 2-3 years’ years of experience in accounting
- Knowledge of Sage Intacct is an asset
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Excels as part of a team with high attention to detail and precise operating methodology
Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI):
