Internship Details
- Type: Paid Internship
- Duration: 4–6 months (flexible, based on availability and performance)
- Location: Kathmandu, Nepal (on-site / hybrid, as applicable)
Role Overview
As an Software Engineer Intern, you will support the engineering team in building, improving, and maintaining software systems. This role is ideal for students or early-career engineers looking to gain hands-on experience with production-grade applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining web applications and internal tools under mentorship
- Write clean, well-documented code with guidance from senior engineers
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product team members
- Debug, test, and improve features
- Participate in code reviews, stand-ups, and technical discussions
- Learn and apply best practices in software development
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Basic understanding of programming concepts and data structures
- Familiarity with Version Control Systems like Git/Github
- Familiarity with languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, Python or similar languages is a plus
- Exposure to frontend or backend frameworks like React JS, FastAPI, Django is an advantage, but not required
- Strong willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
