Job Description

As a Shopper Marketing Specialist for Slovenia and Croatia, you will be responsible for establishing and leading excellence in Shopper marketing to maximize demand for Salomon with Omnichannel trade partners. You will deliver Own Retail marketing activations, digital marketing activations & event organization in addition to leading local Ambassador & Influencer Management.

Key Account & Partner Management

  • Marketing point of contact for local Key Account, Premium Partners and HQ Retail.
  • Deliver seasonal presentations and activation plans at key customer meetings.
  • Coordinate with Sales to build customer plans, including co‑op campaigns.
  • Own and manage Joint Marketing Plans, from definition to execution and tracking.

Shopper & Digital / Ecommerce Activation

  • Prepare 360° seasonal activation plans with a focus on-line presence.
  • Oversee and execute local on/offline campaigns using a dedicated toolbox
  • Ensure retail partners receive all required product and brand assets.
  • Track Pay‑for‑Performance elements related to consumer experience.
  • Plan digital activations in collaboration with the Digital Marketing team.

Event Management

  • Organize and coordinate all trade and consumer events (logistics, attendance, reporting).
  • Support Trade Shows, Buying Days, and showrooms.
  • Lead Pro Team activities: sell‑thru days, shop window installations, events.
  • Oversee ambassador coordination, product ordering/dispatch, and campaign execution.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Produce meaningful reports with clear recommendations based on KPIs, digital ROI, JMPS, and shopper experience metrics.
  • Report progress to the Country Marketing Manager and EMEA Teams.
  • Complete event reporting and administrative tasks as required.

Supplier & Agency Coordination

  • Manage external agencies and service providers for branded spaces and campaigns.

Qualifications

Essential Skills & Experience

  • You have proven experience in omnichannel Trade / Shopper marketing in the FMCG or Sporting Goods industry.
  • Experience in working directly with field or wholesale accounts.
  • You understand shopper behaviour and the key influencing points to improve the conversion funnel to purchase in the shopper journey.
  • You can manage projects and processes with multiple stakeholders that include budget planning and tracking, vendor management.
  • You are familiar with and capable of analyzing trade marketing KPIs.

  • Education: Degree in Business or Marketing
  • Languages: Fluent Slovenian, English proficiency
  • IT Tools: Microsoft Office
  • Driver License
