Job Description

This position is part of the company financial planning and Analysis Team. As the Senior Finance Analyst, you work with business partners to turn analysis into value-adding insight. Also, you will support the Business Partner's to create the annual budget and quarterly re-forecasts.

Main Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Proactively work & business partner with key commercial stakeholders across the organisation, to identify and model key business drivers, trends and KPIs, as well as understand and own the ad-hoc elements
  • Increase productivity by developing automated daily/weekly/monthly reporting & forecasting tools, ensuring we have data that can be sliced & diced numerous ways to streamline processes and foster business understanding
  • Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization, moving from data churning into more story telling for exec level colleagues. Master the art of how to present & mould data to drive commercial buy in & business performance
  • Work closely with colleagues across the FP&A team, providing support where necessary in areas such as reforecasting.
  • ID of risks and opportunities, communicating and drawing attention to areas of interest where applicable to the necessary stakeholders
  • Ability to distil large complex data into clear, concise & understandable outputs
  • To continue evolution of gaining a deep understanding of the numbers, able to spot mistakes within datasets even from a high level
  • Ad-hoc responsibilities with group & venues functions where necessary, ensure correct submissions with reliable data

Qualifications

What’s needed for success – Experience & Qualifications:

  • Qualified / partly qualified / qualified by experience accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.) with a track record of delivering to timescales
  • Min 4 years’ working experience as Finance Analyst
  • Demonstrates sense of passion and pride about own work. Positive attitude and adapts well to change. Inspires passion and excitement around shared goals, promoting environment of achievement.
  • Ability to develop and deliver clear, concise communication and communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately.
  • Ability to identify, influence and work collaboratively with internal Stakeholders and key external service providers.
  • Demonstrates strategic thinking and planning ability, whilst being tactically responsive to changing needs.
  • Confronts and works through tough issues, demonstrating perseverance and a sense of urgency.
  • An ability and desire to learn new skills and technologies.
  • Positive attitude can work with ambiguity and adapts well to change
