Job Summary:
As a Manager on the Brand & Business Development team, you will help drive the department’s initiatives, campaigns, and goals forward. You will support the Director in overseeing the department’s initiatives and provide continuous and general support for all marketing activities, such as internal and external communications, proposal generation, and digital marketing, among other duties for the department.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Act as coach and mentor to teammates in the B&BD department.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist Department Head in overseeing the daily workflow of the Brand & Business Development department.
- Communicate within the department and with firm stakeholders to establish project expectations, requirements, and deadlines for each project.
- Conduct quality control reviews on proposals, press releases, and other communications
- Manage vendor relationships.
- Support management of new business pipeline, including identification of growth opportunities (e.g., targeted campaigns, new services, etc.).
- Seek & secure networking and award opportunities.
- Serve as brand ambassador (must be available to attend events).
- Support thought leadership development.
- Review Google Analytics.
- Coordinate email marketing requests and campaigns.
- Implement and maintain email marketing best practices.
- Manage SEO and AI-optimization.
- Maintain and uphold the firm’s Style Guide.
- Serve as an expert on marketing tools, software, and industry trends.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or legal marketing-communications role(s).
- GED/Highschool Diploma
Preferred:
- Experience managing people preferred.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Solid understanding of all mainstream social media platforms.
- Familiarity with a range of platforms including WordPress, Trello, Zoom Webinar, Hootsuite, Monday.com, Salesforce, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Photography and/or video production skills.
- Strong understanding of relevant metrics and reports (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, native social media analytics, etc.)
- Proactive – always looking for a way to contribute to the team.
- Strong multi-tasker who can manage multiple projects on tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail & organizational skills.
- Commitment to quality.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
- Travel requirements up to 20%.
