We’re looking for a Senior CRM Marketing Engineer to serve as the technical and operational architect of our lifecycle ecosystem. This isn't just about sending emails; you will own the end-to-end migration to Braze, designing the data infrastructure and technical workflows that allow our CRM to scale. You will be the primary bridge between Marketing, Data, and Engineering to ensure our stack is robust, reliable, and high-performing.
What You'll Do 🎯
Lead the Braze Migration: Architect the transition from our current stack to Braze. You’ll decide what to migrate, what to sunset, and how to rebuild complex lifecycle journeys (activation, retention, reactivation) with a technical-first mindset.
Own the Data Schema: Act as the technical lead for CRM data flows. You’ll partner with Engineering and Data teams to define custom attributes, events, and API triggers, ensuring data is mapped correctly and flows seamlessly into Braze.
Technical Operations & QA: Oversee the day-to-day technical health of our CRM. This includes sophisticated campaign setup, rigorous QA, and investigating/troubleshooting technical debt or broken data points when they arise.
Deliverability & Infrastructure: Manage IP warming and sender reputation during and after migration. You’ll monitor deliverability metrics daily to ensure our infrastructure is optimized for maximum reach.
Experimentation Framework: Build the technical foundation for A/B and multivariate testing. You’ll turn performance data into technical experiments that move the needle on key lifecycle metrics.
What You'll Bring 💡
Braze Power-User: Deep, hands-on experience in Braze (Canvas, Liquid scripting, Connected Content, and Audience orchestration).
Systems Thinking: A strong understanding of CRM architecture. You know how to read API documentation and can speak the same language as backend engineers when defining events and user schemas.
Migration Experience: You’ve ideally been through a CRM migration before and understand the pitfalls of IP warming, data mapping, and legacy cleanup.
Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in using data to solve problems. You don’t just see "low open rates"—you look at the data flow to see if a trigger is delayed or a segment is misfiring.
