Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across our healthcare organization. In this role, you will transform complex healthcare data into meaningful insights that improve patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and strategic planning. You will collaborate closely with clinical, operational, and leadership teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and actionable reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple healthcare systems (e.g., EHR/EMR, claims, patient outcomes, operational data).
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs), quality metrics, and regulatory requirements.
  • Translate data findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support quality improvement, financial, and operational initiatives through ad-hoc and recurring analyses.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support clinical decision-making and business strategy.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Collaborate with data engineers, clinicians, and business partners to define data requirements and improve data quality.
  • Document methodologies, data definitions, and reporting standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Health Informatics, Public Health, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a data analyst or business analyst role (healthcare experience preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Solid understanding of statistics, data analysis techniques, and data quality best practices.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with healthcare data (EHR/EMR, claims, quality measures).
  • Familiarity with healthcare metrics, value-based care, or population health analytics.
  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data privacy regulations.

Pay

  • $70,000-$100,000 annually, based on experience/education.
