What you will do
Implement and manage security solutions using the Microsoft Defender suite across Microsoft 365 and Azure
Protect and continuously improve a cloud-only Microsoft environment, ensuring a strong and scalable security posture
Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts and incidents using Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel
Improve Azure security posture by implementing Defender for Cloud recommendations and Azure Policies
Manage email and identity security, including anti-phishing, impersonation protection, and attack simulations
Support security awareness initiatives to reduce user-related risks and strengthen security culture
Oversee device security, compliance, and vulnerability management using Microsoft Intune and Defender for Endpoint
Participate in incident response activities, including ransomware preparedness, containment, and recovery
Conduct proactive threat hunting using KQL and XDR data sources to stay ahead of emerging threats
Implement and manage data governance and protection using Microsoft Purview
Support ISO 27001 compliance efforts, internal controls, and client security audits
Automate security tasks and contribute to continuous improvements in cloud security architecture and processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is embedded across platforms and services
What you´ll bring
Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Cybersecurity or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and relevant professional experience
Microsoft SC-200 (Security Operations Analyst) certification (required or strongly preferred)
3+ years of experience in a security-focused role within a Microsoft Cloud environment (Microsoft 365 and/or Azure)
Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, cloud security, identity protection, and Microsoft security architecture
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Defender (XDR), including Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Office 365, and Cloud Apps
Experience using Microsoft Purview for data governance, information protection, sensitivity labels, DLP, and compliance
Strong knowledge of email security, including anti-phishing and anti-spam controls, email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and threat detection techniques
Experience securing Azure workloads and improving security posture through Defender for Cloud recommendations and Azure Policies
Solid understanding of network security concepts and protocols (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAC), with experience securing network traffic in Azure environments
Experience with device security, vulnerability management, patching, endpoint hardening, and Microsoft Intune
Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash scripting, and KQL for advanced hunting, automation, and custom detections
Experience with Microsoft Sentinel or other SIEM platforms, including analytics rules, dashboards, and playbooks (nice to have)
Experience participating in incident response, threat hunting, and ransomware protection activities
Understanding of ISO 27001 requirements and experience supporting internal, customer, or third-party security audits
Additional Microsoft or industry certifications such as AZ-500, SC-300, SC-400, CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or ISC² CC are a plus
Advanced certifications such as SC-100 Cybersecurity Architect Expert are considered a strong advantage
