Our Visier People Apps team is looking for an experienced full-stack developer to help us grow our analytics product. This is an opportunity to help take our industry-leading products to the next level by adding new product capabilities and simplifying our product to improve usability. Working in close collaboration with our product management team, you'll take ownership over product features from the ground up and drive end-to-end solutions for the unique problems that our customers face.

What you’ll be doing….

  • Delivering new features and products for the Visier People Apps product lines, including a world-class AI Analytics product and an operational reporting product.
  • Working with product to gather customer and market requirements and design new software features and solutions.
  • Contribute your expertise to help the team continuously innovate and improve our technical processes and best practices.
  • Leading and mentoring junior members of the team to grow their capabilities and confidence.
  • Implementing scalable and maintainable designs for complex features.

 What you’ll bring to the table

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional Software Engineering experience.
  • A strong academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar field, with an excellent academic record in Computer Science courses.
  • Excellent coding skills in at least one relevant programming language (i.e. JavaScript, Typescript, Java, Scala).
  • Excellent knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • Extensive professional experience developing user-oriented, workflow-heavy products.
  • Ability to work quickly to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to disciplined and top-quality software development – we write only high-quality code and tests that ship rapidly into production.
  • Great assets would be: experience with functional programming languages and modern web technologies.
  • Proven track-record of sound judgment, advanced analytical skills, and decision making relative to technical design, architecture, test coverage & prioritization, costing, and delivery.

The base pay range for this position in the $120,000-$170,000 CAD/year + bonus + equity.

Benefits and working arrangements may vary depending on your seniority, location and employment type. The compensation offered will be determined by factors such as relevant qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills. Many of our positions are eligible for additional types of compensation (e.g., commission plans, bonus, etc.) which our Talent Acquisition team will share with you if you interview for the role.
