About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of our data warehouse, ETL pipelines, and BI reporting systems. This role is hands-on and data-focused, requiring strong PostgreSQL skills, deep understanding of data validation, and exposure to Python-based automation.You will work closely with Data Engineers, Architects, and BI teams to deliver trusted, high-quality data for analytics and decision-making.

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of our data warehouse, ETL pipelines, and BI reporting systems. This role is hands-on and data-focused, requiring strong PostgreSQL skills, deep understanding of data validation, and exposure to Python-based automation.You will work closely with Data Engineers, Architects, and BI teams to deliver trusted, high-quality data for analytics and decision-making.
What You’ll Do
- Perform data warehouse testing to validate schemas, tables, views, and aggregations.
- Execute complex PostgreSQL queries to validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Test ETL/ELT pipelines, including full loads, incremental loads, and data backfills.
- Perform source-to-target data reconciliation and transformation validation.
- Validate BI dashboards, reports, and KPIs against underlying warehouse data.
- Identify data defects, perform root-cause analysis, and verify fixes.
- Build and maintain Python-based automation for data validation and regression testing (nice to have).
- Document test cases, validation logic, and test results.
- Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams throughout the development lifecycle.

What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of experience in data warehouse, ETL, or BI testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and complex SQL queries.
- Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts (facts, dimensions, transformations).
- Experience validating ETL pipelines and BI reports.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with data engineers and BI teams.
