Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Sr. Analyst to support our People Analytics team in maintaining high standards of data quality and governance across the HR data ecosystem. This role will play a critical part in executing data validation, supporting governance frameworks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of workforce data.

Responsibilities:

Data Quality Operations

  • Perform regular audits and validations to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of HR data.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies in collaboration with HRIS and IT teams.
  • Monitor data quality metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Governance Support

  • Assist in maintaining the HR data dictionary and metadata documentation.
  • Support the implementation of data governance policies and procedures.
  • Help coordinate data stewardship activities and ensure adherence to governance standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with HR, People Analytics, and IT teams to understand data requirements and support governance practices.
  • Provide training and documentation to promote data quality awareness among HR stakeholders.
  • Participate in cross-functional governance forums and contribute to data-related projects.

Tools & Reporting

  • Utilize tools such as Workday, SmartRecruiters and Power BI to support data quality monitoring and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards that track data quality KPIs and governance compliance.
  • Prepare reports and insights for leadership on data quality trends and issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Management, HR, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in data quality, governance, or HR analytics.
  • Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., Workday) and data structures.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Experience in People Analytics or similar HR-focused roles.
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g.; GDPR, CCPA).
  • Exposure to data governance frameworks or certifications (e.g., DAMA, CDMP).
