How you will contribute
You will work with others in Mondelēz International to determine an innovation strategy and priorities to enable consumer-centric brand growth and execute commercial innovation plans on innovation based on identified goals. In partnership with brand teams, you will define and deliver plans to renovate the core brand and to strengthen the entire portfolio through innovation and renovation. You will also manage the portfolio (which includes brand architecture). In this role, you are accountable for revenue and profit, sharing objectives as they relate to innovation, and monitoring performance against key performance indicators. Based on your deep consumer insights, brand strategy and positioning, you will integrate innovation into marketing communication plans and campaigns.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Junior Brand Manager to lead the strategy and execution of the PBs and Meals ( Philadelphia, Royal & others) category in the WACAM (Andean, Central America, Caribbean & Chile) region. This position is key to driving sustained growth and profitability of our portfolio, managing the brand from end-to-end and ensuring our brands effectively connect with our consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Category Strategy and Growth: Develop and implement strategic marketing plans for the PBs and Meals category, aiming to maximize volume growth, market share, and profitability in the WACAM region.
- Business Analysis: Conduct in-depth market, consumer, and competitor analysis using various information sources (Nielsen, Kantar, client sell-out data, etc.). Integrate these insights to identify business opportunities, diagnose challenges, and propose strategic solutions.
- Brand Management and Campaigns: Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns (ATL, BTL, digital) in collaboration with creative, branding, and media agencies. Ensure brand consistency and communication effectiveness.
- Innovation and Product Development: Actively participate in product innovation and renovation projects, from conceptualization to market launch, ensuring proposals meet consumer needs and market opportunities.
- Profitability and Budget: Monitor and manage the marketing budget allocated to the category, ensuring resource optimization and achievement of financial objectives.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, R&D, Finance, Supply Chain, and Corporate Affairs teams to ensure smooth execution of marketing plans and achievement of commercial objectives.
- Customer and Consumer Focus: Develop a deep understanding of consumer needs and behaviors in WACAM, as well as the requirements and opportunities with our key clients.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Experience: At least 6 years of proven experience in Marketing roles, preferably managing Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) brands. This is non negotiable.
- Analytical Skills: High capacity to analyze large volumes of data, integrate diverse information sources, and translate findings into clear business conclusions and strategic actions.
- Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Solid experience using market analysis tools such as Nielsen, Kantar, or client sell-out data systems.
- Agencies: Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating creative, branding, and media agencies.
- Language: Advanced English (oral and written) is essential

- Leadership: Experience in leadership and/or active participation in innovation and product development projects.
- Regional Knowledge: Familiarity and/or prior experience in Central American and Caribbean markets is a plus.
