Job DetailsJob Location: Estis Management Legal Address (K1) - Kilgore, TX 75691Responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting multiple lines of roles and responsibilities such as: Benefits administration, performance management, recruitment, employment processing/on boarding, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, training, employment law compliance, payroll, development and implementation for both policy/procedure and Affirmative Action plans.
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel
Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual
Performs benefits administration
Recruitment efforts for all exempt and non-exempt personnel, and Interns
Understanding of FLSA and Multi-state payroll regulations
Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems
Manage company leave programs by effectively interpreting FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities
Annual reporting, such as OSHA, EEO-1 and Vet 100/A
Handles employee relations counseling, investigations, and Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) preparation
Partner with supervisors and managers to work through progressive discipline as needed
Advise employees and supervisors about company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures
Prepare statistical and written reports with varying degrees of complexity and detail for management
Administration of human resource programs as assigned
Identify potential issues in a proactive and timely manner
Familiarity with Affirmative Action and OFCCP compliance
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Preferred Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years Human Resources experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred experience of Onboarding and Offboarding activities
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
HRMS experience desired
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Excellent time management, organizational and detail skills
Ability to work in a diverse fast-paced environment
PHR or SPHR preferred
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, sit and/or walk on a hard surfaces
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, climb steps, and use ladder
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to communicate verbally using a telephone
Vision required: 20/40 with or without corrective lenses to accurately read all related distribution documents and computer monitor screens.
