
About this role
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused CSSP Customer Support Specialist to join our team at Scott AFB, Hill AFB, or Whitehall OH starting in March 2026. This position will support the DISA GSM-O Task Order 09 Network Assurance (NA) Program. In this role, you will act as the primary liaison for our Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) customers, managing client relationships and ensuring their operational effectiveness. You will provide technical support and facilitate incident response communication. Your work will be crucial in helping our customers maintain a strong security posture and meet compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Onboarding & Engagement:
- Support the onboarding of new CSSP customers and conduct regular, as-needed engagements.
- Onboard and engage CSSP customers to ensure operational effectiveness.
- Gather and maintain customer artifacts and lists on NIPR and SIPR.
- Incident Response & Vulnerability Management:
- Assist users during security breaches, providing clear updates and guiding them through mitigation steps.
- Monitor and take action on Vulnerability Disclosure Program (VDP) reports for DISA Global CSSP customers.
- Serve as the bridge between the customer and internal security engineers to escalate and address threats.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Help customers meet DoD, CJCSM 6510.01b, and other regulatory requirements.
- Oversee documentation revisioning and updates as required per CJCSM 6510.01b and support any CSSP inspections.
- Provide customers with necessary documentation on their security postures.
BASELINE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active DoD Secret security clearance is required; ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in cybersecurity or a related field; equivalent experience and/or cyber security certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proven experience in a cybersecurity, IT support, or customer-facing role.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with CJCSM 6510.01b and other DoD cybersecurity regulations.
- Experience working with NIPR and SIPR environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience working with DISA and/or DoD networks.
- Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, common networking ports and protocols, traffic flow analysis, system administration principles, the OSI model, defense-in-depth strategies, and standard security components.
- In-depth expertise in the architecture, engineering, and operational aspects of at least one enterprise-grade SIEM platform (e.g., ArcSight, QRadar, LogLogic, Splunk, Elastic).
- Demonstrated experience with malware analysis concepts and methodologies.
- Advanced certifications such as SANS GIAC (e.g., GCIA, GCIH, GLSC) or CompTIA CASP+.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
