
About this role
Leidos is seeking a Scrum Master for a technical development program supporting the Sponsor’s Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM /ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes and Digital Policy Management. Leidos is looking for a Scrum Master to join a high performing agile team in support of a nationally significant and fast-paced program.
Primary Responsibilities
- Facilitating self-organizing teams to ensure each team is making progress against sprint commitments
- Protects teams from scope creep during execution of the sprint
- Removes impediments for the team
- Helps members communicate, coordinate, and cooperate
- Supports and enforces Scrum process and other rules
- Ensures that the team has a clear understanding of Definition of Done and how to meet it
- Coordinates with other teams on the contract and communicates status to Management
- Works with the Product Owner(s) to review and prioritize features
- Leads and facilitates Agile ceremonies to include sprint planning, sprint review, demos, and sprint retrospective
- Works with teams to develop user stories to meet the Feature acceptance criteria and requirements
- Works with the team to help gather and refine requirements
- Maintains and generates information radiators for the teams
- Collects and shares team metrics with the team, determines when new metrics are needed, and develops improvements in metrics
- Works with the team to develop and adhere to best agile practices
- Works with the team to develop collaborative tools and dashboards to help monitor metrics
- Supports the team during UAT and Integration testing as needed prior to deployments
- Works with the team in planning and ensuring the release process is properly planned and executed
- Coaches’ teams on agile and scrum principles with a goal of continuous improvement
- Creates a fun sharing and learning environment, experimenting with various ideas to improve delivery including pair-programming and cross-functional training
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Typically requires BS degree and 12+ years of prior relevant. Additional experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience in working as a Scrum Master or Team Lead for a software development or similar technical team
- Experience using agile project management tools (e.g. Jira, VersionOne)
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, and time management
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or similar agile project management certification (PMI-ACP)

Pay Range:
Pay Range $116,350.00 - $210,325.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
