About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

The Trailhead Marketing Manager, Social & Content drives awareness, engagement, and adoption of Trailhead through always-on storytelling and high-impact content launches. You'll own Trailhead's social channels and newsletters, partnering with content, product, and community teams to bring new learning experiences to market with clarity and momentum.

This role blends editorial instincts with data-driven execution—ensuring Trailhead content shows up in the right places, at the right moments, in ways that resonate with Trailblazers across every skill level.

Key Responsibilities

Social Channels

  • Own day-to-day strategy and execution for Trailhead social channels, with a focus on driving engagement, learning discovery, and ongoing participation

  • Translate Trailhead content, launches, and moments into compelling, platform-native social storytelling

  • Partner with content, product marketing, and community teams to plan social support for major launches, campaigns, and seasonal moments

  • Manage social calendars, copy development, and performance optimization, ensuring consistency with Trailhead and Salesforce brand voice

  • Leverage performance data to refine and scale social strategy, improving reach, engagement, and conversion

Newsletter & Always-On Content

  • Own execution of Trailhead newsletters, including editorial planning, copy development, and performance tracking

  • Partner with content and program teams to surface the most relevant learning, announcements, and community moments

  • Drive measurable engagement and habit-building through timely, relevant, and inspiring storytelling

Content Launches & Campaign Support

  • Support go-to-market execution for new Trailhead content, features, and learning experiences

  • Coordinate cross-channel launch plans across social, newsletters, and owned channels

  • Work closely with content, product, and analytics partners to ensure launches are clear, cohesive, and measurable

  • Develop scalable launch frameworks that work across multiple content drops throughout the year

Measurement & Optimization

  • Track and report on performance across social and newsletters, using insights to inform future planning

  • Translate performance insights into clear recommendations for content, product, and leadership teams

  • Continuously test, learn, and optimize content formats, messaging, and timing

Who You Are

  • A strong storyteller who understands how to adapt content for different platforms and audiences

  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines without losing attention to detail

  • Data-informed and curious—you let insights guide iteration, not just instinct

  • Collaborative by nature, comfortable working across content, product, community, and marketing teams

  • Energized by building engagement at scale and helping Trailblazers discover what's possible

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4-7 years of experience in content marketing, social media, or digital marketing

  • Experience managing social channels and/or newsletters for a consumer or B2B platform

  • Exceptional writing and editorial judgment, with instinct for clarity, voice, and impact

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Trailhead, or developer/admin/architect audiences is a plus

  • Experience working in fast-paced, launch-driven environments

  • Experience with Sprout is a plus
