Meaningful Work From Day One:

The main focus will lie in Operations Controlling, a newly created financial position that will analyze and report on cost of sales, operational costs, and marketing expenses, making sure that the company has the right practices and processes in place in order to increase effectiveness and efficiency of the operational organization of Brown-Forman Spain.

The incumbent will increase transparency and understanding of costs and drive special projects to reduce costs and improve profitability across our value chain. Thus, he/she will have to work closely together with and act as a Business partner to other functions such as supply chain, HR, and marketing.

What You Can Expect:

  • Become the main support and business partner to all operationally relevant functions (supply chain, marketing, HR)

  • Analyzing and reporting Cost of Sales, Marketing expenses, and SGA non-personnel related

  • Analytical support, preparing meaningful and actionable reporting
    including budget reporting, variance analysis, and other ongoing monthly reporting

  • Cooperating with other departments (Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing) to ensure that the right commercial practices, policies, and processes are in place and followed

  • Special projects to seek potential savings within the organization

  • Ad-hoc analysis, work, and support in all other areas of the Spain Finance Team

  • Preparation of the monthly reporting pack for management

  • Data quality: Responsible for ensuring data quality in the systems & maintaining key platforms used for analysis

What You Bring to the Table:

  • College/University (Bachelor's or Equivalent); Business or finance experience: MBA preferred but not required

  • Minimum 1 year qualified, post-degree experience in Controlling /Finance within the FMCG sector

  • Good English speaking and writing

  • Fluent Spanish

  • IT literate: very good knowledge of MS Excel (possibly Power Query & Power Pivot)

  • Financial / ERP System – SAP

  •  Strong Analytical skills

  • Ability to think conceptually and strategically
