Team Global Express is seeking a highly experienced Finance Manager for our Delivery Partners Network to play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, cost optimisation and strategic decision-making across one of our largest and most complex cost bases.

This is a high-impact role where commercial insight directly influences EBITDA, customer outcomes and operational stability. Reporting to the General Manager - Commercial Finance, and partnering closely with the EGM Delivery Partners, you’ll be the go-to specialist for end-to-end commercial and financial leadership within our Delivery Partner network.

The opportunity

Delivery Partner spend represents one of the most significant variable cost lines in the business. This role brings together commercial rigour, financial insight and operational collaboration to ensure strong governance, improved efficiency and sustainable profitability while supporting a major transformation agenda across the organisation.

You’ll work nationally with operational leaders, regional GMs and branch managers to identify value opportunities, challenge cost drivers and turn data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end commercial and financial management of Delivery Partner spend

  • Drive cost optimisation and efficiency initiatives that improve profitability

  • Deliver high-quality planning, forecasting and performance reporting

  • Provide strategic decision support to senior leaders across Finance and Operations

  • Analyse complex operational data and translate it into clear commercial insights

  • Support major change and transformation programs with robust financial modelling

  • Build strong partnerships with regional and national stakeholders

What you’ll bring

  • Extensive experience in commercial finance, FP&A or senior commercial management

  • Strong background in cost management, ideally within logistics, transport, supply chain or asset-heavy environments

  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and operational leaders

  • Advanced financial modelling, analysis and reporting capability

  • A strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution

  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership style
