Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance & Reporting

Support all aspects of corporate tax compliance in China, including corporate income tax, withholding taxes, freight taxes and transfer pricing returns.Ensure accurate and timely preparation, review and submission of tax returns and related filings.Prepare supporting workpapers, reconciliations and calculations to back up tax positions.Support global reporting requirements within the region, e.g. CbCR, Pillar II.Support tax audits, enquiries and resolving tax controversies.Support tax accounting requirements within country.Support tax compliance & reporting in other countries within the APA region, as required.

Operational Excellence

Support and implement standardized tax processes and controls to ensure consistency, accuracy and efficiency.Collaborate with finance and other teams to improve processes, risk management and the internal control environment.Maintain and enhance the use of technology solutions to streamline and optimize tax compliance and reporting.

Risk Management and Governance

Identify, assess and mitigate tax risks.Support internal and external audit processes and ensure control compliance where applicable.Strategic Initiatives and Business SupportMonitor tax law changes within country, evaluate business impacts and effectuate, where applicable.Provide tax advisory and technical guidance to business teams and support cross-border operational planning.Team DevelopmentSupport a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and innovation within the team.

Requirements:

  • Solid background in Chinese tax law and accounting area.
  • Quick learn ability (LnS process).
  • Good communication skill with up and down stream team.
  • Experience in process management.
  • Proper English spoken and written level.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
  • Result and quality oriented with high sense of urgency
  •  CPA or Certified Tax Agent as a plus
