Shape and Elevate HR Excellence Across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg

We are seeking an experienced HR Operations and Payroll professional who is ready to take ownership across the entire Benelux region. This is a strategic, high‑impact role combining operational mastery with regional coordination, offering the opportunity to contribute to the implementation of our STRADA HR Operations model and support our footprint in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.

About the Role

As our HR Operations & Payroll Lead for the Benelux, you will ensure seamless HR delivery, compliant payroll execution, and consistent employee experience across three countries. You will be part of our HR Hub/HR Operations team and closely collaborate with payroll providers, managers, and talent teams—acting as the central point of expertise for all Benelux HR processes.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all HR administrative processes, ensuring contract accuracy, Workday data integrity, employee lifecycle management, and legal documentation across three countries.
  • Support regional HR strategy execution, collaborating with the HR Hub to enhance operational capabilities and enable business growth in NL, BE, and LU.
  • Act as the primary HR Operations contact for managers and employees, providing expert support on local labor legislation, company policies, and sensitive employee and HR Admin related issues throughout the Benelux region.
  • Coordinate regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to NL/BE/LU labor laws, collective agreements, working time rules, and health & safety requirements.
  • Support internal HR communication, ensuring employees and managers receive guidance on processes, policy updates, legal obligations, and regional HR initiatives.
  • Own the full payroll cycle for the Benelux region, coordinating with payroll providers and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing across NL, BE, and LU.
  • Lead the rollout of Strada Pay and HR Operations standards, ensuring regional alignment with the Managed People Services framework.
  • Support recruitment activities, including salary proposals, interview coordination, and hiring documentation, in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Prepare and consolidate monthly HR reporting, including headcount, turnover, absenteeism, payroll cost analysis, and KPI dashboards for the Benelux.
  • Contribute to audits, controls, and HR governance, including SOC1, internal audits, and continuous process improvement across the region.

Your Profile

You will be successful in this role if you bring:

  • Strong expertise in payroll and HR operations across Benelux countries.
  • Solid knowledge of local labor laws and compliance requirements in at least one Benelux country and the ability/willingness to manage all three.
  • Proven ability to manage complex HR processes independently with a high sense of ownership and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to operate in a corporate and matrixed environment.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a passion for improving processes and employee experience.
  • Language requirements:
    • French (professional proficiency)
    • Dutch (professional proficiency)
    • English (fluent)
