We’re seeking a commercially focused finance professional with strong FP&A capability, sharp analytical skills and the confidence to partner with senior stakeholders. You’ll work closely with the CFO and the Executive Leadership Team, as well as Billing Operations, Service Delivery and Sales, delivering analysis that directly influences operational and strategic decisions in a growing embedded network business.

This is a high-impact, highly visible role for someone who enjoys being close to the business, improving performance and building financial tools that support effective decision-making.

About the role

You’ll lead budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting across a multi-site embedded-network.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and manage the annual budget and financial models across functions and locations.
  • Develop weekly and month-end forecasts, highlighting risks, opportunities and recommended actions for the CFO/CEO.
  • Maintain a rolling 12-month forecast for revenue streams (embedded network billing, services) and cost categories.
  • Track operational KPIs and cost drivers and recommend actions to improve margin and cost efficiency.
  • Partner with operational leaders to align site-level metrics to P&L outcomes.
  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis, financial modelling and pricing support
  • Utilise tools such as Power BI to enhance reporting, processes and systems.
  • Support month-end and Group consolidated reporting; contribute to Board packs with crisp narratives and visuals.

About you

Commercially minded, analytical and comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders. You enjoy solving problems, improving processes and helping leaders make informed decisions in a fast-moving operational setting. You will bring:

  • Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting and CA or CPA qualification.
  • 5+ years in FP&A, commercial finance or management accounting (multi-site or operational environments ideal; energy/utilities a plus but not essential).
  • Advanced Excel (incl. Power Query) and strong Power BI experience; exposure to data warehouses/SQL highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated capability in budgeting, forecasting, pricing and performance analysis.
  • Ability to challenge assumptions, lead conversations and influence outcomes.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy and structured problem solving.
