About the role
The Events and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of Elders’ national and regional events calendar, including large industry conferences, trade shows, field days, and sponsorship activations as well as providing marketing support within the Brand team and across the whole Elders Group.
Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and delivery of corporate, client and community events across Australia, collaborating with national, regional and state stakeholders.
- Coordinate end-to-end event logistics including venues, catering, suppliers, merchandise, guest lists, budgets and timelines.
- Maintain event schedules and task tracking using Monday.com to ensure accurate planning and delivery.
- Manage event branding, signage, sponsorship activations and collateral to ensure consistency with Elders’ brand and visual identity.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver seamless event and marketing experiences.
- Support marketing campaigns, digital and social media activity, including event coverage, content creation and brand storytelling.
- Assist with the management and delivery of marketing collateral, merchandise distribution and ad hoc marketing requests.
- Complete post-event reporting, evaluations and analysis, including stakeholder interviews, recommendations for improvement, and invoice processing.
About you:
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in event coordination and/or marketing, ideally within a corporate or agricultural environment.
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Event Management or a related discipline.
- Strong social media content creation and management experience, including Meta and TikTok (reels, scheduling and publishing).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer-focused approach for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event/marketing platforms such as Monday.com, Canva and Adobe Suite.
- Current unencumbered driver’s licence, with flexibility to travel and work outside standard hours during major events.
