Primary Care - Nurtec Product Manager
ROLE SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the planning, development, and execution of marketing strategies and initiatives for Nurtec in line with business objectives and omnichannel strategy, including full ownership of launch preparation and execution. The role works closely with Sales, Medical, Access, Regulatory, and other cross-functional teams, and plays a critical role in leading strategic collaboration with the Alliance Partner through joint planning, execution governance, and performance management to maximize business results. This position also represents Pfizer in key working-level communications and contributes to strategic alignment and negotiation with the Alliance Partner to ensure successful and compliant execution of the business plan.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Planning & Implementation
- Develops strategic and operational plans (POA) for NURTEC.
- Leads launch planning and execution including pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases.
- Uses interconnected channels to shape customer experience, omnichannel strategy, and action.
- Ensures effective implementation of designated marketing plans to achieve desired business outcomes.
Alliance Partner Collaboration & Governance
- Leads strategic collaboration with the Alliance Partner to ensure aligned objectives, priorities, and execution plans.
- Drives joint business planning, performance review, and execution governance with the Alliance Partner.
- Represents Pfizer in key working-level discussions with the Alliance Partner to align strategy, resolve issues, and accelerate execution.
- Contributes to strategic negotiation and communication with the Alliance Partner to maximize long-term business value.
Market Intelligence
- Analyzes and interprets market intelligence from a range of sources (including market research) to support decision making.
- Monitors competitive environment and customer insights and reflects them in strategy and execution.
Sales Forecasting & Performance Management
- Assesses and understands the competitive market and proactively identifies opportunities aligned with business objectives.
- Monitors performance and KPIs and drives optimization of plans.
- Demonstrates sound financial management by ensuring that expenses are within budgets to achieve profit targets.
Relationship Management with Customer / Stakeholders
- Builds positive relationships with key customers and stakeholders (e.g., opinion leaders).
- Drives voice of customer insights and reflects them into strategy.
Work with Field Force
- Works effectively with field force and Alliance Partner field organization to develop, implement, and monitor strategies and promotional activities.
Cross-divisional Teamwork
- Understands the interdependencies of cross-functional teams and works effectively with key stakeholders to develop and implement strategies.
- Works closely with external agencies, vendors, and the Alliance Partner.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- 2–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or marketing
- Launch experience strongly preferred
- Experience in migraine, neurology, therapeutic area preferred
