Title of the position: Senior Accountant I, Accounting &Tax Compliance Services
Location: Shanghai, China
Work Schedule/Timings: 40 hours weekly
Onsite/Remote/Hybrid status: Onsite
Introduction to the role: This role offers an excellent opportunity to build up accounting, tax and financial management experience. You will be part of our accounting &tax compliance services team and provide accounting and advisory support to international businesses operating in China.
Job Accountability/Role & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for administering all aspects of the accounting function including the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports in a timely manner, submit monthly and quarterly tax returns, prepare monthly payroll, responsible for internal and external audit and ensure clean opinion, etc.
- Ensure efficient and effective communications with clients, maintain and enhance good and stable relationships with clients and local authorities
- Daily cash/bank works, including money received and paid and other related cashier works, reconcile the payment and receipt information with bank statement, and prepare bank reconciliation on a regular basis, issue invoice and handle the invoice verification on a regular basis, safe-keeping financial documents
- Assist for other accounting works as per company
Educational Qualifications & Skills:
- University degree or above in accounting, finance or related disciplines;
- Over 3 years of full set accounting and tax work, preferably in professional firm or MNC, be familiar with payroll, IIT, social security and housing fund policies and practice is preferable;
- Excellent English and Chinese written and verbal communication skills;
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g. Kingdee, UFIDA), be familiar with Microsoft Office, especially WORD, EXCEL, PPT;
- Work proactively with responsible attitude and reliable for any assigned work by the company;
- Strong team spirit, good communication skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team;
- Mature and stable, be willing to work under pressure.
