
About this role
As a Business Analyst you will join the product “Procurement” which is part of the Tribe Procurement and Cost Management within the COO Finance organisation.
You will be part of an international, multidisciplinary squad composed of business analysts, a product owner and engineers. We follow an agile way of working and take on the requests from all our stakeholders and make it happen. These squads are high performing, self-steering teams with a high concentration of employees in India while you are based in Amsterdam. You will be part of a squad with frequent interaction with other departments and entities in the ING organization. It is important for the squad to clearly communicate, have customer focus and have a strong drive for performance to improve the application and inspire the squad members.
The Team:
As part of the Squad you analyse business processes, assess the impact and you will make sure that the business- and user- requirements are covered in changes for R2R (Request to Receive) solution(s) of ING and service levels between parties are clear, aligned, administrated and reported. Focus on short term will be to implement and support the Request-to-Receive process and application for ING Germany.
As a Business Analyst you will contribute to the maintenance, stability, continuity, extension and roll out of the GEP R2R platform in Germany.
Key Responsibilities
Service delivery towards different domains/policy owners:
- Prepare, communicate and chair monthly user group meetings
- Develop and maintain trust-based relationships with relevant policy owners and stakeholders
- Manage second line ticketing and User Access management Support
- Secure the compliance of tooling solutions in collaboration with IT-custodian
- Quarterly Service reporting
- Improve and professionalize service delivery and manage the service delivery organization
Strategic alignment and roadmap planning
Participate in strategic alignment and roadmap exercises:
- Prepare QBR and set priorities
- Planning of the roadmap for the product
- Translate roadmap and QBR output in backlogs
Change management for the R2R domain:
- Backlog management
- Requirements management (translate business requirements to technical solutions)
- Impact assessments
- Review functional and technical design documents
- Guide configurations with engineers
- Initiate and guide test factory with regards to FAT testing
- Organize training for users and support and guide UAT testing
- Communicate upcoming changes to the user community
Requirements
We are looking for a business analyst with IT skills and proven experience in the procurement and cost management (ERP) domain preferably in banking/financial institutions. Someone who is capable of quickly understanding a complex environment and system landscape. Someone who enjoys working in a team of highly skilled professionals.
- Strong analytical skills, accurate and critical mind-set
- Bachelor/Master in a field which has equipped you with relevant knowledge and skills
- In depth knowledge of Procurement and R2R Processes and Solutions (Sourcing, Contract Management, Request to Pay and Reporting)
- Experience in the cost management domain, preferably with GEP, SAP, PeopleSoft or other ERP systems
- Proven service management mind set and behaviour
- Strong affinity with Technology and IT, capability to understand coding and scripts
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly build relationships with your (international) stakeholders
- Pro-active attitude and result driven
- Ability to work together with professionals from different backgrounds and cultures and experience with Agile way of working
- Available for occasional travel
- Fluency in English both written and verbal
