Job Description
The Jonas Synergy Marketing Specialist is a remote, full-time position focused on driving digital
marketing success for golf course clients. This role supports the onboarding, implementation,
and management of marketing solutions, including websites, mobile apps, email, and SMS
campaigns. Reporting to the Director of Digital Experience, the specialist ensures seamless
client experiences through project management, technical support, and strategic
consultation. Ideal candidates have a background in digital marketing and the golf industry,
with expertise in platforms like WordPress and Jira, strong organizational skills, and a passion
for helping clients thrive. This role emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and delivering
measurable results through innovative marketing strategies.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Jonas Synergy Marketing Specialist plays a key role in supporting the growth and
implementation of digital marketing solutions for golf course clients. Reporting to the
Director of Digital Experience, this role is focused on the execution, onboarding, and
enhancement of marketing services, including websites, mobile apps, email marketing and
sms marketing, and other digital tools. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on team member
with experience in customer relationship management and a passion for helping businesses
succeed through innovative technology solutions.
The ideal candidate has a background in both digital marketing and the golf industry, with a
proven track record of executing successful digital marketing strategies, while also being very
comfortable with relationship management and getting the most out of their interaction with
the golf course operators. The daily responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
● Client Onboarding:
○ Assist in onboarding new and existing client websites using platforms such as
WordPress.
○ Manage the implementation of white-label mobile applications and email/SMS
marketing tools for clients.
● Project Management:
○ Lead and manage digital projects for websites, mobile apps, and email/SMS
marketing from inception to completion, ensuring projects stay on track, meet
deadlines, and exceed client expectations.
○ Use tools such as Jira for tracking project milestones, managing tasks, and
collaborating with cross-functional teams.
○ Coordinate with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure smooth
communication and delivery of services.
● Ongoing Support for Digital Products:
○ Provide ongoing support for client websites, mobile applications, and
email/SMS marketing platforms.
○ Troubleshoot technical issues and work with relevant teams to resolve any
product-related concerns quickly and effectively.
● Customer Engagement & Strategy:
○ Serve as a key point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and
offering recommendations on best practices for digital engagement.
○ Monitor client campaigns, analyze performance metrics, and suggest
optimizations for better outcomes.
● Product Expertise & Training:
○ Maintain a deep understanding of Jonas Synergy’s tools, including WordPress for
website design, mobile app, email marketing platforms, and Google Workspace.
○ Educate clients on best practices and product features, providing training and
support as needed.
● Collaboration & Internal Coordination:
○ Work cross-functionally with teams such as Sales, Implementation, Support,
and Customer Success to deliver top-notch client service and drive product
adoption.

and present their brand. You’re comfortable working with the familiar, but you’re also excited
to introduce new, creative ideas that push the boundaries of traditional marketing.
Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
● Experience in a customer-facing role such as marketing, account management, or
customer success, preferably in digital marketing.
● Strong knowledge and experience in using WordPress for website design, email
marketing platforms, Google Workspace, and Jira for project management.
● Familiarity with mobile application deployment and marketing automation tools.
● Demonstrated ability to manage multiple digital projects (websites, mobile apps,
email/SMS marketing) simultaneously, delivering them on time and within scope.
● Experience working with golf course management software or in the golf industry is a
plus.
● Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on solving client
problems and delivering value.
● Technical aptitude with the ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in managing complex
projects across multiple clients.
● Ability to provide ongoing support and technical assistance to clients, ensuring
long-term success with Jonas Synergy’s digital products.
30-60-90 STARING PLAN
Days 1-30:
● Learn the framework of your day-to-day responsibilities.
● Gain in-depth knowledge of Jonas Synergy software, including the Jonas Synergy Marketing
tools and associated software used in the role.
● Collaborate with the Director of Digital Experience and Managed Marketing Team Lead
to understand the product offering, the tools we leverage, and the infrastructure that
is in place.
● Begin familiarizing yourself with tools like WordPress, email/SMS marketing platforms,
and project management tools such as Jira.
● Participate in introductory client meetings and training sessions to understand client
expectations and how to manage relationships effectively.
● Shadow senior team members to observe onboarding processes for new clients,
specifically focusing on website, mobile app, and email/SMS marketing tools.
Days 31-60:
● Shadow the Director of Digital Experience to gain a deeper understanding of the
day-to-day functions of the role.
● Take on your first client project, with assistance from the Director, working through
the various steps involved with managing accounts from onboarding to ongoing
support.
● Develop initial marketing plans for Managed Marketing clients, incorporating website
updates, mobile app launches, and email/SMS campaigns.
● Create monthly customer meeting outlines and content for ongoing client check-ins,
making use of reporting tools to evaluate campaign performance.
● Draft templates and content for email blasts, campaigns, SMS texts, and social media
posts, tailored to the specific needs of your clients.
● Work within social media management and performance reporting platforms to
monitor client marketing efforts.
● Begin using Google Business Management tools, exploring strategies for optimizing
client visibility and engagement through local SEO and Google tools.
Days 61-90 (and beyond):
● Manage a full client workload, taking responsibility for multiple golf course accounts
and their respective digital marketing projects.
● Closely monitor the performance of various marketing campaigns, tracking key metrics
(open rates, click-through rates, engagement) and analyzing data to evaluate the
effectiveness of campaigns.
● Plan and execute full marketing campaigns for golf course clients, including content
creation, campaign scheduling, asset coordination, and ensuring on-time delivery
across multiple channels (email, SMS, social media, mobile apps).
● Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their business goals and
aligning marketing strategies to support those objectives.
● Conduct regular client meetings to discuss performance metrics, provide
recommendations for improvement, and identify new opportunities for growth.
● Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of Jonas Synergy’s managed
marketing services by sharing feedback, identifying process improvements, and
suggesting innovative marketing strategies.
