About this role
At myPOS, we’re all about helping businesses grow and get paid. We make payments simple, smart, and accessible for everyone, but we’re more than just payment solutions - myPOS is a partner in growth. From free multicurrency accounts to powerful e-commerce tools, we’re here to support business owners of all sizes and everyone out there who dreams of starting their own business.
As we are expanding our team, we’re looking for Product Data Analyst to help us make a real difference in the Fintech industry. Ready to join us and shape the future of payments? Let’s make it happen!
About the role:
We are seeking a Product Data Analyst to join our Data team and work closely with our Product teams and cross-functionally with our Marketing, Operations and Commercial teams.
This role focuses on exploratory analysis and insight generation, experimentation and product analytics. The Product Analyst supports product decision-making by transforming data into clear, actionable insights. You will help evaluate new business lines, product features, and growth initiatives by designing experiments, analysing outcomes, and translating results into clear recommendations.
The role requires strong Power BI, SQL and advanced analytical skills suited to fintech product environments such as onboarding, credit risk, pricing, activation, customer behaviour, payments, etc.
What you’ll do:
Reporting & Data Exploration
Develop, maintain, and improve dashboards and reporting for product teams (e.g. activation, retention, engagement, monetization).
Use SQL to explore and query and transform large datasets (primarily in GCP BigQuery) to support continuous and ad-hoc analyses.
Contribute to evolving product metrics and definitions in collaboration with Product and Data teams.
Insight Generation & Decision Support
Analyse product usage, customer journeys, funnels, and feature performance to identify trends, opportunities, and issues.
Translate analytical findings into clear, decision-oriented insights for Product and Commercial stakeholders.
Support hypothesis-driven analysis in areas such as activation, retention, monetisation, and risk.
Product Analytics & Experimentation
Design, analyse, and evaluate experiments and pilots for new product features, pricing models, and business initiatives.
Assess performance against baselines and control groups to determine what is working, what is not, and why.
Conduct deep-dive analyses on user segments, behaviours, and cohorts to support product strategy and alert product stakeholders to anomalies or emerging trends
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with Product Managers to define success metrics, measure experiments, and interpret test results.
Act as a thought partner in defining what “good” looks like for new initiatives and how success should be measured.
Support adoption of insights by clearly communicating findings and implications to non-technical audiences.
Data Quality & Foundations
Partner with Data Engineers to ensure relevant product data is available, reliable, and fit for analytical use.
Contribute feedback to data models and pipelines based on analytical and experimentation needs.
Help improve documentation of product metrics, assumptions, and analytical methodologies.
This role is perfect for you if you have:
2–5 years of experience in data analytics, product analytics, data experimentation, or a similar role
Strong proficiency in SQL, PowerBI and Excel; experience working with large datasets
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with experience in hypothesis-driven analysis
Solid understanding of product analytics concepts (funnels, retention, cohorts, activation metrics)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain data findings to non-technical stakeholders
A proactive and collaborative approach to working in a cross-functional team environment
Foundational experience with Power BI (ability to explore data and build dashboards)
Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business and product stakeholders
Experience working in a fintech, payments, lending, or credit-risk-related environment
Curiosity and willingness to explore new problem spaces, products, and business models (You’re a self-starter who is comfortable working in highly empowered teams)
