As a Finance Supervisor, you will handle the accounting functions of MCB Leasing Ltd by ensuring adequate maintenance of accounting records and relating control systems as per applicable policies and procedures.

Job vacancy: Finance Supervisor
In this role you will,
- Assist with the development and delivery of financial policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure the company complies with regulations and good financial practice;
- Identify, within the team, instances of non-compliance with the organization's policies and procedures and/or relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, reporting these and escalating issues as appropriate;
- Monitor and analyze data using established finance systems and protocols;
- Produce accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standard formats;
- Help others get the most out of data management systems by providing analysis, support and advice;
- Respond to queries from Suppliers, Management, and other stakeholders whether internal or external within agreed time frame so that the highest level of customer service is being met;
- Provide operational support by performing a range of routine activities using existing systems and protocols;
- Supervise and monitor the work of a team to make sure the team is achieving defined objectives and standards. Includes providing guidance with regard to best practice and relevant policies, processes and procedures;
- Resolve complex queries from internal or external stakeholders;
- Prepare/Review standard financial statements, management accounts and other relevant reports within the organization's established systems to deliver required insights;
- Coordinate, review and file various reportings with the different regulatory bodies within the set deadlines;
- Participate actively in the successful implementation of projects to improve operational efficiency and service levels;
- Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

We are looking for candidates who have a:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or any related field;
- 3 years’ experience in Finance, Accounting – preferably within financial services such as banking or leasing;
1 year of hands-on experience leading or supervising a team
A combination of both qualification & experience will be considered.
