About Shared Services
The Shared Services teams support all companies across The Village organization by providing essential business functions including HR, Finance, IT, Maintenance, and Finished Goods Warehouse operations. Serving as the backbone of the organization, these teams partner closely with every division to streamline processes, enhance communication, and help each business succeed. Shared Services plays a critical role in keeping everything running smoothly while driving continuous improvement across the entire Village.

About the Role:
The Vice President of Finance and IT/IS is a senior enterprise leader responsible for financial stewardship, performance management, cash discipline, and technology enablement across The Village Companies. Reporting to the President, this role partners closely with executive leadership and General Managers to ensure financial integrity, data-driven decision-making, and scalable systems that support profitable growth.
The role provides executive leadership over both Finance and IT/IS, ensuring strong alignment between financial outcomes, operational execution, systems, and data.
Schedule: Office hours (Monday–Friday); On-Site
Core Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership & Governance
- Lead all enterprise financial reporting, internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance requirements.
- Manage key external relationships, including banks, auditors, tax advisors, and insurance providers.
Planning, Forecasting & Performance Management
- Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Own enterprise KPI architecture across business units and shared services.
- Ensure accurate revenue, margin, and cash forecasting, including identification of gaps and corrective actions.
- Support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and operating reviews with a strong cadence of accountability.
Strategic Decision Support
- Provide fact-based financial and analytical support to the President and General Managers, including pricing, capital investments, new product initiatives, and customer/channel profitability.
- Translate operational and strategic tradeoffs into clear financial implications to enable better decisions.
Cash, Capital & Enterprise Value
- Own cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and capital allocation planning.
- Support acquisitions, divestitures, and integration activities.
IT / IS Leadership & Enablement
- Provide executive oversight of IT and IS functions, ensuring ERP (Epicor), EDA, analytics, cybersecurity, and data governance support financial integrity and operational excellence.
- Govern and prioritize technology investments based on business value, risk, and scalability, with day-to-day execution led by dedicated technology leadership.
Organization & One-Village Alignment
- Build, coach, and retain a high-performing finance and IT organization.
- Drive consistency in financial management, reporting, systems, and processes across the enterprise, reinforcing a One-Village mindset.
Requirements
Education/Experience:
- 15+ years of progressive Finance leadership experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment, including a minimum of 5 years in senior-level financial leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required; Master’s degree and/or CPA preferred.
- Proven ability to build, lead, and scale high-performing Finance teams that consistently deliver strong business results.
- Experience leading enterprise-wide initiatives that support organizational growth, operational excellence, and a dynamic corporate culture.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning capabilities, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in coaching, mentoring, and developing talent across the organization to build high-performing, collaborative teams.
- Deep understanding of legal, regulatory, and accounting standards, ensuring compliance and sound financial governance.
- Strong systems aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Access, and financial/enterprise software solutions.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
