The PCG Specialty Chemicals Finance & IT department is seeking a driven and detail-oriented intern to support our financial operations. This role is perfect for students seeking practical experience in accounting or finance, offering exposure to month/quarter-end reporting, budgeting, and data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support month/quarter-end financial performance reporting and analysis.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc management requests.
- Utilize Power BI and Excel for data-driven financial insights.
Collaborate with team members to complete high-quality tasks timely.
Ideal Candidate:
- Students in Accounting or Finance (Business/Banking also considered).
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI.
- Committed, detail-oriented, and a proactive team player.
- Assist with month/quarter-end financial performance reporting and analysis.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Address ad-hoc management requests for financial data and insights.
- Utilize Power BI and Excel to generate data-driven financial reports.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain and update financial records and databases.
- Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
- Support the team in achieving financial goals and targets.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Provide administrative support as needed.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Banking.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
