Job Duties

Virginia Energy's HR Team is seeking an energetic candidate to assist with a special project focused on reviewing, organizing, and updating personnel files to ensure compliance with agency policies and regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual interested in gaining hands-on experience in HR operations and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent communication and time management skills.

Additional Considerations

Familiarity with HRIS or document management systems.
Knowledge of HR compliance and record-keeping standards.

This position is classified as an hourly (wage) role. Employees in hourly/wage positions are limited to working no more than 1,500 hours (29 hours a week) within an employment year, defined as May 1 through April 30.
