About the role

The IT Project Manager & Reporting Lead is responsible for driving SWAG’s IT initiatives forward while delivering trusted, business-critical reporting built on NetSuite data. This role blends hands-on project execution with data and reporting ownership, ensuring technology efforts are delivered on time and that leadership has clear, accurate insights to guide decision-making. This position takes ownership of IT project planning, execution, and communication, while also designing, maintaining, and improving NetSuite-based reports, dashboards, and KPIs. The role partners closely with Finance and Operations to improve data consistency, reporting accuracy, and confidence in the numbers. In addition, the IT Project Manager & Reporting Lead reduces key-person risk by documenting reporting processes and training a secondary team member, supporting long-term scalability and continuity. Success in this role results in predictable project delivery, trusted reporting, and less firefighting across the organization.

What you'll do

  • Partner with cross functional departments to define project goals. Lead the execution and delivery of IT initiatives across SWAG, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities
  • Drive accountability across internal teams and external vendors to keep initiatives moving and resolve roadblocks
  • Own the strategy, design, and execution of NetSuite-based reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and analytics used for business decision-making
  • Improve data consistency, definitions, governance, and confidence in NetSuite reporting and analytics
  • Optimize and maintain NetSuite saved searches, reports, and analytics tools
  • Partner closely with Finance and Operations to ensure reporting accuracy, relevance, and alignment with business processes
  • Document reporting processes, data definitions, and repeatable workflows to reduce key-person dependency
  • Train and enable a secondary team member to support and maintain NetSuite reporting
  • Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes clearly to leadership
  • Ensure IT solutions and reporting frameworks are practical, scalable, and aligned with how SWAG operates

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2+ years of experience managing IT or technology-related projects from planning through delivery
  • Strong experience building, maintaining, and owning business reporting and analytics, preferably within NetSuite
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into clear technical and reporting requirements
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite saved searches, reports, and dashboards
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Clear, concise communicator able to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • High ownership mindset with a track record of delivering results with minimal oversight
  • Experience in a distribution, manufacturing, or multi-location operational environment
  • Exposure to data governance, data definitions, and reporting standardization efforts
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI)
  • Project management certification (PMP, Agile, or similar)
  • Experience training others and creating documentation to support knowledge transfer
