About the Role:
The Senior Product Manager plays a critical role in shaping and delivering high-impact payments products that power Priority’s platform and customer experiences. This role owns complex product initiatives end-to-end, blending deep customer insight, business strategy, and strong technical acumen to deliver scalable, compliant, and reliable solutions.
You will lead product discovery through delivery, working closely with engineering, design, operations, and go-to-market partners to solve ambiguous problems and translate them into clear, actionable outcomes. Responsibilities:
Champions the voice of the customer by developing a deep understanding of customer workflows, pain points, and jobs-to-be-done within payments and financial operations.
Anticipates friction across the customer journey and proactively designs solutions that improve experience while delivering measurable business value.
Gathers insights from customers, data, and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities and shape a product roadmap aligned to product vision and business strategy.
Contributes to defining and evolving product vision, applying a culture of experimentation, measurement, and learning to validate opportunities and demonstrate impact.
Leads complex, cross-functional product initiatives from concept through launch, balancing speed, quality, and innovation.
Translates insights into clear, prioritized requirements and product artifacts, validating assumptions with data and maximizing outcomes.
Partners closely with engineering to break down work, evaluate trade-offs, manage dependencies, and optimize delivery cadence using agile methodologies.
Collaborates with design, technical writers, QA, and global teams to define solutions, plan releases, and deliver products predictably.
Provides clear communication and progress visibility to leaders and stakeholders, aligning teams around shared goals and outcomes.
Engages directly with customers, operations, and go-to-market partners to ensure solutions are viable, usable, compliant, and ready for adoption.
Owns the product lifecycle across multiple domains, from discovery and UX through roadmap management, launch planning, and post-release iteration.
Upholds and continuously improves SDLC, operational, compliance, and audit processes.
Mentors and supports product management teammates, contributing to stronger practices, skills, and execution quality across the team.

Candidate Requirements:
Required
10+ years of experience in product management, with strong exposure to payments, merchant acquiring, credit card processing, or related financial systems.
Experience building and delivering SaaS products, web applications, transactional systems, databases, and REST APIs.
Working knowledge of onboarding flows, device configuration, business operations, cross-sell mechanics, and adjacent payments ecosystems.
Proven track record of delivering software products using agile/scrum methodologies.
Experience working with global, distributed teams.
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and standard productivity tools; familiarity with Figma, Lucidchart, or similar tools is a plus.
Strong understanding of payments concepts including processing, pricing, reconciliation, and regulatory/compliance considerations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting to senior leaders and customers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive creative, data-informed solutions.
Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and motivated by helping customers, teams, and the business succeed.
Preferred
12+ years of experience in payments, banking, or related financial technology domains.
Degree in Engineering, Computer Applications, Business, or a related field.
Experience applying or integrating artificial intelligence technologies within product workflows.

Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation range: $115k-$150k
